Paying for College

Washington state's community and technical colleges are a great value in higher education. Plus, you'll learn from world-class instructors, not teaching assistants, in small and diverse classes. Whether your goal is to get started on a bachelor's degree and transfer, or to train for an in-demand job, you'll get an outstanding education for Washington's lowest tuition.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid

If you plan to attend college this fall — or any quarter during the next academic year — fill out the (FAFSA) right away.

Selective Service

Virtually all male U.S. citizens (regardless of where they live) and male immigrants (whether documented or undocumented) residing in the United States, who are 18 through 25, are required to register with Selective Service.

Males must register with Selective Service to be eligible for federal student loan and grant programs, including federal Pell Grants, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG), Direct Stafford Loans/Plus Loans, national direct student Loans, and college work study.

Registering with Selective Service does NOT mean you are joining the military.
