Resources to Initiate Successful Employment (RISE)

The Resources to Initiate Successful Employment (RISE) program provides access and services to food stamp recipients in Washington state. igkbet娱乐官网 include job search and job search training, education and skills training, and support services to Basic Food recipients not participating in the state’s Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program.

igkbet娱乐官网RISE program is a three-year Supplemental and Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training (SNAP E&T) pilot, offered through the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), from Dec. 1, 2015 through Sept. 30, 2018.

RISE services are focused on the following populations: homeless, veterans, those with limited English proficiency, non-custodial parents in arrears and those who have experienced unemployment for 12 or more consecutive months. RISE services will be federally funded 100 percent for the pilot duration. The Department of Social and Health igkbet娱乐官网 (DSHS) is the designated administrative agency in Washington. RISE is a partnership of DSHS, SBCTC and community-based organizations (CBOs) in four Washington counties (King, Pierce, Spokane and Yakima).

eJAS Access & Information

igkbet娱乐官网College staff use the electronic Jobs Automated System (eJAS) — pronounced eJazz — to create employment-focused service plans, track work-based learning, document case notes, run reports and more.
